Large / K-27 chuff circuit transistor
February 05, 2008, 08:18:14 AM
Can anyone direct me to the posts on installing the switching transistor?  Now that I am ready to install my equipment,  I can't seem to find the posts.  What solder tabs, on the bachman board, does the emitter and base connect?   ??? ???

Large / Decoder instructions for K-27
January 30, 2008, 08:05:47 AM
Bach-man,

When will Bachmann be issuing installation instructions for the various decoders? (Airwire, RCS, etc.)  I will be using battery power.  Sure would like to know how to make the various functions operate, i.e. lights, smoke
Thanks ???

Bachmann should send shim kits to all who returned their warranty cards.  I will fix mine before they arrive, but it would be nice to have an extra set.

I had the same problem, very difficult to remove.  This is what I did. Cut off the locking tabs and use a small flat blade screwdriver and they pop right out.

Large / Airwire decoder to K-27 board
January 23, 2008, 10:24:54 AM
Can anyone supply me with a diagram of the connections between the Airwire decoder and the K-27 board.  I know about the transistor for the chuff circuit.  Phoenix has a circuit diagram for the  P-5 to the decoder but I have not seen a diagram for the decoder to the K-27 board.   ???

Has anyone tried removing the cab roof?  Looks as if it snaps on an off but I would rather not try without hearing from someone. ???

Large / K-27 Plow brackets

Hi Bach-man

Can you tell me if and when plow brackets will be available for us that don't have the plow but have the holes in the smoke box sides.  Need to cover the holes. ???

Thanks
Richard

Happy to see someone got their Green 455.  I am still waiting as Caboose Hobbies has not received their 10 pallets.  Did it come with the plow brackets to fill the holes in the smoke box?

Hi Roger,

I see you have a pre wreck 455.  Just what I ordered.  I would love to see a picture.  My question is...did it come with the plow brackets to fill the 4 holes in the smoke box?  Or will I have to make them...
