Likely the trestle would measure out to be 27 inch's, or the length of 3 section's of 9 inch track.

It would look good as a drop section on a Xmas layout, with out having to get extreme with grade's
to gain the height necessary to use on a flat top table.

I have had no luck finding the trestle on the Bradford Exchange site at all

The upper set of driven wheels are for the Rack drive on the engine, you can just
make out the the pinon wheels between the two sets of adhesion drivers.

Baldwin Locomotive Co had the rights for North America to build the Beyer-Peacock Garretts

American Locomotive Co had the NA rights to build the Kitson-Meyer, one proposal for the Southern Pacific was for a 4-8-2+2-8-4, with a  seperate 12 wheel tender, with a total weight of 352 Tons.

74 Kitson-Meyer engines were built, 68 of these were narrow gauge, ranging from 2 FT 6  inch to
1 Meter gauge. My personal favorite articulated engine rather the Garretts. I will admit I do have a
OO scale LMS 2-6-0+0-6-2 model. Also working on building a 2-6-0+0-6-2 Kitson-Meyer.

Not Canada Day until you hear Stomping Tom sing his Canada Day song.

Always enjoy hearing it.

Big Blue Trains had! a article on doing this conversion, however it is now "404".

Should have printed it off when I came across it,

I have two snow plow's on the go  A wedge plow completed and the Rotary is coming down the home stretch, about 90% done.  adding minor details and then into the paint shop for weathering.

The wedge plow is based on one operated on 2Ft 6 Inch gauge by FCAB in South America.

The Rotary plow is based on xRGS #1 which was sold and operated on the 3FT gauge  Kaslo & Slocan Rly in Canada, later rebuilt and operated on the Kettle Valley Rly (aka CPR).

Interesting to note that CWR was in service as early as  1889, the Norfolk and Western had a 3 miles stretch installed. The rail was electric welded and also used on street railways.
Information from " The Science Of Railways" published in 1903.

Actually there were Shovel nose version's operating in South America before the WP&Y got theirs and the the DL 535 operated also on NG line's in South America, rode behind a few of them.
I would sooner see the Baldwin-Whitcomb 2&1/2 foot gauge units built for service in Chile
for Braden Copper Company.

Afraid the closest you will find are kits of the 90 Class and 100 Class in S scale NG,
produced by "Railmaster Exports" in New Zealand. I have 3 of there 90 Class, one was converted to a B unit with a second end casting from them. At the time I wish I had also bought the DL 535 (100 Class) the LHS had.

My first XMAS train set, my Dad made, it was a SW switcher 6 Sardine tins and a Caboose.
Moved a lot of dirt during the summer!. Made of scrap plywood and 2x4 lumber. Wish I still had it. First Electric train was a TRI-ANG Suburban set from England which I still have on a shelf.

There was a Thomas Kinkade caboose, I have one, but it is missing the roof, and ladders. Whether the caboose is still available is hard to say.
