Dear Folks:

Bachmann finally returned the loco's I returned for repair.

They did a great job and sent them back in nice safe packaging.

Everything runs and operates great. The smoke from the GS-4 "puffs" up

in intervals and it wows everyone that sees it.

PROBLEM:

My son noticed that the hexigonal nut that holds the rod to the REAR FLANGED WHEEL on the port side(Left) side comes loose.  I tightened it and after a few laps

around the layout starts to come loose again. Any suggestions on what to do and

why is it unscrewing.  It's the hexigonal nut for the axle of the rear Helical Gear.

This is a great engine!! and really impressive looking on the layout with its red

and orange colors.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks everyone

Dear Joe

A BIG  BIG  THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read the link above and I am very appreciative.

I like all the rail lines you mentioned and have a special liking

for ACL.  Its probably the Purple colors they used.

I can still get the PRR units but not so sure about ACL but I don't

mind hunting for items it's a lot of fun!!!!!!!

Looking to find out if Diesel pulled those Madison passenger cars or was it just

steamers.

Have a chance to pick up some really nice PRR Tuscan Red Madison Passenger cars

did the GG-1 pull them?

Thanks in advance

While we are on the subject.

I recently purchased 2  NW-2 switcher engines different rail lines, My son put both

on the same track and one ran faster than the other.

Since it seems fun to have a double hook up as seen in some photos, does WBB

make non-powered units? Just wondering.

Every engine we have purchased from WBB looks great on the layout and is a lot of

fun to run.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!!!

Can't tell you how relaxing it is after a stressful intense day to later after things

settle down go downstairs with my train lovin son and run those units for about 10

or 20 minutes before bedtime !!!!!!  Thanks Bachman

If you want real water. I would recommend Garden or outside railroading.

A farmer a few miles from our home has a Outdoor Railroad Club. It is a huge

sight to see and has real water falls, watermills etc with r/c Tugboats.

It is an incredible sight

BUT

it is outside!!!!  The trains run near the water but not close enough to cause problems.

I
The club members all say no-way would they do this in-doors.

Also it's all G-Scale !!!!!!!

In the latest CLASSIC TRAINS magazine the feature article was on E Units!!!!

The color schemes of so many rail lines throughout the country were beautiful and thoughtfully done. I would be tempted to buy them for our layout for the fun of it.

What I have been learning of late is how much crossover occurred from time to time.

So many lines "appeared" around Chicago for a visit or whatever you can have a lot of fun mixing up the lines.

While I was in Florida last week I saw Florida East Coast and it has nice color schemes. I would buy a WBB

if they did a FEC.

I seem to have a bias to rd PRR as of late as I learn more and more about them especially after finishing

a book on the PRR from the 1930' to the 1960's. Great book lots of pictures!!

Would love to see WBB put out a ATLANTIC Engine it pulled passenger cars. Must have been quite a powerful engine!!!!!!!

wipe it off. The Trains run great !!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone!

I'll see what I come up with. Those Williams Blue Comet passenger cars are really nice.

I am so glad to have discovered Williams the quality of their products is very impressive

Did any other engines or Locomotives pull the Blue Comet cars? Just in case I can't find
the Locomotive?

Williams has a full-scale Hudson in Blue -Jersey Central? Would that work??

I need some information

While in Florida last weekend, a friend took me to an incredible

all-train hobby shop. I found a 4-passenger car Williams Blue Comet

set no engine just the 4 cars. There was also a 2-car set. There was only one

and the owner said it was the only one he had. I had him put it aside and

let him know if I find a locomotive I'll purchase those 2 sets. Well does Williams

Bachmann make an engine in O-Gauge for the Blue Comet because I can't seem to

find one.

Anyone have some info to help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jward

Nickel Plate also ran in Indiana

I know this to be true as we have a NPR museam in Knox County Indiana!!!!

I have spent a lot of time speaking with some of the old timers who frequent

the place and give tours to the kids!!!

Thanks 3Rail

I saw the U-Tube video not long after I posted the question to you and was really

impressed with what I saw being released. I sense that eventually what we would

like or close to it will be released at some time. The quality of the new engines looked

superb and the paint scheme's were very impressive. What you have to offer now

and in the coming months should keep my son and I busy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks
