General Discussion / Harbor Name?
August 18, 2007, 08:58:31 PM
Does anyone have knowledge of decals that are for harbors?  I have a water scene that has its own switchers.  I am hoping to find decals that said "Harbor", "Seaside", or even "Piers"; but cannot find them in HO scale.

I have tried Micsoscale, and walthers, to no avail..

I had a problem like that with one of my 4-8-4's.  I glued a washer to the top of the truck, after I reemed out the hole for the screw shaft.  I then painted the washer and weathered it.  I have to point it out for others to see...

I have not had any problems since.

HO / Bachmann 1 Amp Decoders
August 18, 2007, 04:04:26 PM
Mr. Bachmann,
Is there a recommended limit to how many decoders can run on the basic Bachmann DCC system?  Also, how many for the new 5 Amp system?
Thanks,

Is the motor "Isolated"?
Can anyone send me the original drawings?
Contact me at my email, if needed.  If anyone has pictures..  That would be GREAT!!

Nigel,
I just want to be able to turn lights (fore and aft), on/off.  Control speed and change directions.  Is there a particular # of functions "required" to do this?  Do you need 2 functions to turn lights on AND off?(for example?)  Or does it need to just one per operation?  Would I need only a 4 function decoder, or 6 to do this?  I will not be adding sound anytime soon....or never :-\

Ivarass,
Do you have pictures of what you did for sound?  Please contact me off-forum if you can on how you installed this :)

Thanks again, for the help!

Dear All,
Has anyone put a decoder in this engine?  It has a 8 pin connector.  Is there any decoders to NOT use?  I use the Bachmann EZ-Dcc system.  If that matters...  or not :)

Thanks for the info....

March 04, 2007, 04:08:41 PM
Mr. Bachmann,
I am confused... ???
I was under the impression that Bacmann receilently came out with a "New" 4-4-0?  All that I can find are pictures of "Standard" line 4-4-0's.....
Please help!!

Thanks in advance!!

HO / Re: 1:87 Scale heavy Equipment models

Stephen,
While you are at WallyWorld...  Look in the same area.  There are now MANY 1/87 scale models in diecast.  I just picked up Vans($1) in the clearance isles.  There are a lot of cars there also.  Especially the 1950-1570 range.  It is hard to find Transition area vehicles at &1.98....  ANYWHERE else...

There is also a good selection of  1/87 race car models.
