I run the ME&O from 1920 to 1980 depending on what engines and rolling stock I have attached

Those not running are in my staging area --a small cabinet that rolls under my layout

I run 2 ovals and match both consists to the same time frame

Great lookin layout and the pics are anything but poor quality

Walters new release 12 pack --data only decorated for my RR and with homemade loads

Kaydee couplers and all metal wheel sets 

If you keep a watch on EBAY you might find a used MRC Sound and Power 7000

It has built in Momentum and Sound for both steam and diesel

I have 2 and really like them

I regularly run 2 trains on my 18 and 22 ovals in DC mode

My staging area is a cabinet I built with lined drawers that sits under the table

The engines with  tenders connected stay in the drawers when not in use

The other drawers hold my rolling stock that is not in use

I rotate engines and stock according to my daily whims

My power supplies and switch box sits on top and I pull it out when I run the trains

My Bachman 2-8-0 pulls 24 coal and 12 ore cars loaded around my 22"oval with no problems

It is way too long for a 4X10 but I wanted to see how it did

Normally run 6-12 coal or 6-10 box/gondola or 12 ore 

Yeah they are ugly but I don't like the Dash 9s ,SD70s , GP/ SD 7s and 9s either

I bought 12 of Walters new Data only Ore cars and decorated them for my ME&O
Made my own fake ore loads

Had my 4-8-2 pulling 24 coal cars and the 12   ores plus caboose

Looks neat but a bit too long for my 4X10 layout 

The framed items that look like pictures are my wife's Counted Cross Stitch
