I had a problem with someone when she asked if I wanted a spot of dick until I realized she was offering me pudding.

If you do a search  for EZ Track on the board, you will find some.

Large / Re: Dampen Track Noise
January 07, 2008, 07:54:28 PM
That was like a lightbulb for me.
I never thought about sound "inside" the cars maybe contributing to the noise. I guess a hollow box car would sound different that a flat.
If the trucks were insulated from the body, I guess that would help.

Without the turntable, he would need a wye to turn the locos and that would take up more real estate.
I agree that shot along the track looks real good.

I don't know about the stopping. I've never had that problem.
How long is your loco? Is it a little one?

Gene - I wondered about your spelling of "twelvth", but I see that it can be spelled with a "v" or an "f".

While not in your era, a Bachmann Old Time 4-4-0 will do it.

HO / Re: Old West Structures
December 31, 2007, 12:12:47 PM
I like Bachmann's Old West buildings. They are some of the neatest I've found.
I got all of mine from EBay, but I don't see any listed right now.

I should have put the disclaimer in my post that I own the publishing rights to Black Oak Arkansas' 70's music so my opinion is somewhat biased.

While I don't have any opinions on Desiderata, one way or another, I think the 70's were one of the best musical decades.
Black Oak Arkansas was selling out concert halls around the world back then. Some of the best rock music of all time was made in the 70's.
While many rock groups started in the 60's, they hit their stride in the 70's.
Just look at today's music - not much out there that even appeals to me.
