That is in the RWS by the Reverend's son, Christopher. It is a newer book, possibly the most recent. Henrietta only had a face in that one instance, no where else. By no means should we be seeing Henrietta with a face as it wasn't in the first books or in the TV series. Nothing to worry about there. *Dodges bullet* Phew... ::)

There isn't a Toad to begin with. Emily is more of a classic character than Spencer anyway. Why not take him from the range?  :P (Disregard that for being serious)

I agree with the addition of BoCo, Duck, Oliver, more trucks and vans, and the red coaches. the old coaches pulled by James, Edward, and rarely Henry should be made as well.

By the way StanierJack, what do you mean by styrene sheet? I'm trying to make the red coaches and the regular coaches of Annie and Clarabel.

Thanks

Ah, that's a good argument as well. The breakdown train has been around for longer. Breakdown train has been a cameo for a number of times, but Rocky has appeared a decent amount as well. He has been around for more than one to two seasons by the way. He appeared in season 10 (his debut), every season after that, and Hero of the Rails.

http://ttte.wikia.com/wiki/Rocky (I have my sources.)

What's this about Whiff? Is he being made too all of a sudden?

I don't know if they could create a whole quarry and/or mine. Duck and Boco are very good thoughts considering the engines being released this year. Daisy is a good one too. I wonder when Oliver will come along as well. After these releases I wouldn't mind some more rolling stock (more vans, trucks, ESPECIALLY coaches). As for the buildings, I would like to see a 2/3/4 road freight shed made. That would be a nice layout edition.

Just a tip. You can edit your post. No need to double-post. I don't understand what you mean by "Lady and Diesel 10 have same amount."

As for the rare characters, they haven't appeared nearly enough times to be high up on the list. Stepney is a classic engine and has appeared more than once, so he has more of a chance, but as for the others, it is a slim to none chance in my opinion. I wouldn't mind any of the rare things being made; I'm just stating an educated opinion.

The kids are more familiar with Rocky. The whole having a face thing is substantial. I stand with what Chaz. I wish the breakdown train would be made but Rocky may come first.

Complete agreement with Rocky. The face sets it off. I quite like the breakdown train myself, it's classic.

Narrator: Thomas went to go rescue James with the... Rocky?! *reads through script* I find this unappealing.

As said I doubt Lady, Splatter, and Dodge will be made. Diesel 10 has a better chance, but even his chance is slim. He appeared twice and they appeared once. I wonder about Molly or Billy as they haven't appeared in more than 1 episode (besides cameos). I'm being honest. I would like to see them made too but they really aren't in that much of a demand.

Hmm, well it might be kind of the same thing. They don't always start at 0. None of mine do. It is a slim chance of it being the motor. Toby may be a late starter, that's a reasonable statement. James for example is terribly slow at starting and he has the 6 drive wheels like Toby. I honestly wouldn't worry greatly about it.

I say that Bachmann controllers aren't terrible. They get the job done, but there are better. Depends on what you are running with this. How big of a layout are you running with this controller as it could be too small for sufficient running capabilities.

There are nicer controllers. I only have a Bachmann one for the Gordon and the Express Set I purchased a few years back. I use a controller (not sure if it's the brand) called Tech II. It works fine. I plan on using 1 per track on my layout and 1 for each yard.

You could also wire up your track in different places to spread the electricity more.

My Percy and James start at around 30-35 with my Tech II controllers, so I would expect Toby to be a bit better (being newer), but not by much because of 2 reasons:

1. In my opinion there can be better controllers than the Bachmann ones (depending on which you have, if it is the blue Thomas controller then I stand with my statement)

2. Toby isn't an extremely amazing runner, but I'm not saying he's a bad runner. Bigger engines probably have better connectivity.

In conclusion if you are truly worried, ask a model train expert or get a different controller.

Hope this helps and good luck.

On your layout shown on YouTube, it is mentioned that you (ThomasFan247) have a hill on your layout. How does James and the other engines run on the hill in terms of quality?

That is a major surprise that there is no odor for you. It may even be faint on some engines (Edward, Salty, Mavis), but after a bit of running James and Percy can be noticeably smelly.

I think I know your odor. Every one of my engines has that odor after running them well. Thomas had no odor but after running him for 20 feet, with no load I might add, he had the odor. At this point I don't think it is an issue.

On the speed note. I have never seen an engine to react right away on a transformer/controller. After 10 smph, okay, but usually when you get to 20, it will start to move. It's like they need a bit more juice to get going, so the extremely slow speeds will probably not happen. Now that I think of it, the new ones (Edward, Mavis, Salty) might react better but I'd have to test it.

When you put a face on something, though, it will sell. Rocky seems to be on the LC wish list for kids over the breakdown train, so why isn't it the same in some cases with Bachmann Thomas items? I emphasize kids with this. Kids also get Bachmann Thomas stuff, so I would think the same. I would be happy with a breakdown train. Rocky would also be alright.
