Toby seems to have just as much airtime as Henry and Edward. Gordon and Henry will probably be made. The large scale engines might just go in the order of the HO range.

I know that but in comparison to a different freight car. I can get salt vans instead. They are freight cars too  :P.

Do you mean the grinding as in his motor working?  :P Percy tends to make a sound like that. Mine runs fine.

As for James, I have been though a lot with him. He plain sucks on hills...  :-\ I would add weight to his boiler and cab. I'm currently trying to figure out how to mold weight so I can fit as much as possible inside him. I added some without molding it and it seemed to help. I need answers as well. I've never had a problem with Henry. He was the only engine I bought off of eBay. He runs great in my opinion. Is this one you are talking of the Deluxe Henry or the old one? I would think he should run fine.

& SI3D..
Now bachmann is doing a kit of the whole station.Knapford has appeared in every season(Minus series 5) & not only is there knapford station itself but also...
story. Knapford Station has been in every season.

Knapford was not in season 5. It was replaced with the 4 line station, Kirkronan.

Now, I'm not trying to be rude but... what was the point in this thread?  We realize Knapford is popular, or else Bachmann wouldn't be making it :P, and that it has been in every season.  I'm just saying that this kinda cluttered the board :-\.  Not trying to be rude though... :)

I have to agree. They are making Knapford. They surely know what it looks like. Tidmouth Sheds wasn't bad when taking into account that E-Z track was meant to be used with it. Knapford will have to be E-Z track compatible.

Knapford has changed throughout the seasons. The first picture is probably more accurate to what they are painting. The station has changed a bit. If you look at the 2 pictures, the archs for the roof are outlined in green in the newest picture and the season 4 picture has the gray outlining.

I wouldn't doubt if a 4 track Knapford was made as nearly all toy lines did that to an extent. If 6 tracks were used, some layouts would have the problem of incorporating all 6 tracks. I would like to see 6 tracks as well.

They are making Knapford, so we don't need to show Bachmann how to do it. They haven't done bad so far. Trying not to be rude, but this thread is"cluttering" the board. Bachmann has their resources, so they are going to use them.

"Only Time Will Tell"... Just wait and see.

Well I find it that they have a good chance as now the only regular coaches are Gordon's. They are also rolling stock so they are quite easy to make compared to an engine.

As for the discontinuing of items, I doubt they would be marked down as they have become rare due to the discontinuation ( :P). I got one of each discontinued item, but I got 2 composite coaches. The local hobby shop in my area seems to have the red coaches as of now, not sure if I sure get a few more when I already have 3. I also think they have the RF container and 6 ton.

Should I get more? Is it worth it? I honestly don't recall the RF container wagon in any episode and the 6 tons could be taken as the short sided quarry wagons or the lone wagon with an M on the side at Ellsbridge in "James in a Mess."

Seems awkward the way the 2 sets of lines connect. I also don't see where Knapford will go. As for the size, if it is 17 by 17 (about) Tidmouth and the docks are far too big if this is in HO. With a 17 by 17, you could fit from Tidmouth to Crosby easily, maybe even Wellsworth and the Docks if you don't do absolutely everything in between. Looks alright though. Good luck with it.

I just remembered something!!! The Red Branchline coaches have been seen being pulled by Stanley in Season 12 (Gordon takes a Shortcut) and The Great Discovery I think.

Quite random... What's your point with this statement?

How do the narrow gauge engines have a chance really, unless Bachmann has a Small Scale Range in the making.  :P They'd be nice to see but if they were made, they would be a different scale. That would create problems in terms of people needing to buy N-scale track when they have another scale (HO for example  ;D) already.

If I recall we have 2. That is a rarity seeing as Mavis was the only female until Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Rosie shouldn't be at the top of this list for that reason. Duck should most likely come before Rosie.

the 6 ton and rf container are being retired too?

I would never even attempt it as they wouldn't resemble anything from the TV or RWS. They wouldn't be awkward looking, they wouldn't even be vans. The main van would be easier to change and you could mock-up the Ventilated van to different colors and it would still look fine.
#237
I can't seem to find the Ventilated Van at all locally. The Mail Van is no where to be seen either.

I believe season 5 "Put Upon Percy" is an example of his model with the common color of most coal trucks painted on him. The newer fans should know of him if they know of Oliver. I don't doubt that most know who he is.

If you're not careful, yes. Try wiggling it off instead of pulling, if you must remove it from the axle. The assembly can be dismantled with a screwdriver, so I don't see why you'd need to.

Not all of it can be dismantled with a screwdriver. He didn't mean the screw holding the bogie to the engine. He meant the actual wheel (where there is no screw).

Well with the recent discontinue of the red express coaches from Bachmann...

I had no idea that they were discontinued. Wow, I'm glad I already have 2 composite and 1 brake...  ;D
Could've used 1 or 2 more though.  :D
