For 3mm Led lights, I bought a string of 100 led Christmas lights.  It was $6.99 On sale!!  I have used these in 4-6 engines,  front and back.

HO / Re: track shorting out in a loop

Tyler,
I just found a similar problem. with one of the insulated gaps, that isolates my programming track from the rest of the layout.  I replaced the insulator.  that solved the problem.  Hope this helps.

HO / Re: Cookie Benchwork Question
January 31, 2009, 10:26:53 AM
Casey,
When I elevated my "Cookie Cutter" areas of track;  I built the plywood LEVEL.  I  then put shims every 6th tie to super elevate the curves.  That way, I could then space the shims farther apart, and gradually banked the track into the curves.   I then tacked the track down, after I was assured of great running track.
I hope this helps.

Mr. Bachmann,
How hard would it be to have the "powers to be" to activate this feature?

How do we call?!!!

Here I always thought it was the "Stupid Computer!"

Try Ebay,
I just completed a search, and found 11 (eleven) of these HO engines...  NO they are not Bachmann's, but they are available.  Why would you chew a manufacturer's  Representative for something beyond their control?

It does not state that there will be "No more DCC"...  I do see that there is not any actual information when you look at the individual pages.  It does talk about a NEW system..  Prodigy Advance 2 "Squared"...  though.
When you click on the decoders, it does state "Product no longer available", for the SALE items...

What software program did you use to make the plan?

The Bigboys look really great....  I cannot tell the difference between the model, and the Rivarossi units!!

As Don stated, your pictures are good.  Cannot wait to see the progress you have made.

General Discussion / Re: HELP!! EBAY "SITUATION"
January 24, 2009, 10:04:07 AM
I have used Postal MO's a lot.  When I first started using them, I did NOT know, and was sending BOTH copies of it to the sellers...  That was wrong.  I was actually lucky, and was notified by one of the SELLERS that I was doing it wrong....  It is good to ask questions, when trying new payment methods!
My point is this...

If you have not paid the Ebay person, AGAIN, you need to.  You may have to take the loss, while (maybe) waiting for your money.  It is a SMALL price to (re-) pay, compared to not having your bids accepted, due to negative feedback.  Ebay stores will NOT usually work with neg. buyers...

Whoever said-  "communication" was the key, is absolutely correct....

You might be wise to disconnect the smoke unit, so it does not happen again...

Rich,
IF I read this right...

.4535/.03937 x 3.5 = approx 40.31 scale inch wheels?  Which is 40 inch wheel sets?  Right?!!
