Scotty is right.  Once in a while, when I'm by myself, I will turn on the Annie sound just for kicks.  However, it's usually off, and when I have guests I run the Phoenix equipped shay and 45 tonner.

I beg to differ.  The majority of G gauge layouts are indoor and it doesn't seem to be too practical to be using rc/battery inside.  TOC, help me out if I'm mistaken on this.

Fellow Bachmannians,
There have been several very good threads about the new 1/20.3 scale freight cars.  However, no one has addressed the glossy finish on the  boxcars.  Has anyone come up with a good/simple way of dulling them down besides using countless cans of Dullcoat?
