HO / Re: New HO 2-8-0, where is it.
December 19, 2009, 09:55:26 PM
The new 2-8-0s arrived in the warehouse about 2 weeks ago and have started shipping to dealers. The H4 production samples have arrived so I would say we are about a month out on those.

General Discussion / Re: A BACHMANN GP-7

These items were listed in the online products catalog when they were announced at the NMRA convention back in July. Since there are about 10 pages of HO motive power items it is easier to search for them by name or item number (62401 through 62405).
They have also been announced in our monthly newsletter (November edition) and will be listed as a featured item before the end of the month.
You can sign up to receive the newletter on the Bachmann homepage.

General Discussion / Re: new locomotive running slow
December 09, 2009, 08:38:37 PM
It would probably be a good idea to clean the top surfaces of the rails with a "bright block" (track cleaner) available at your local bobby dealer and perhaps lubricate the engine's gears if you haven't done so already.

Mr. Bach Man is at the Great Train Fair in Syracuse, New York so I will confirm it for him. Yes Thomas is on the way and will be here very soon.

I attended Model Railroad Days at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania on Saturday. It was a nice event. Follow the link to pictures in the photo gallery!
