Photos of the production samples were just taken and will be posted soon. Previous photos were of the undecorated pre-production sample.

As the Bach Man stated all of the colors used on Bachmann products are custom mixed at the factory and are matched to a specific Pantone or RAL color specification (or sample). In any event you would not be able to buy an exact match off the shelf in your local hobby store - you would have to custom mix the color. You can stand assured that every Bachmann product is tested and certified to be within the parameters set forth by the Consumer Protection Agency.

The Scenescapes figure line will be expanding in the future and we will certainly keep these requests in mind!

Now let's not forget about Bachmann O and HO Scenescapes figures!

We received the following letter recently here at the Bachmann offices:

Gentlepeople --

I just purchased a card of your new figures in HO -- Maintenance Workers, BAC 33106.  Your figures are every bit as good as "Brand P" from across the Atlantic, for about 75% the cost.  Also MUCH BETTER than those from Woodland Scenics, which have had proportion problems since day one.

I have noted that, beginning quite a while back, your products have steadily improved ever since the 2-8-0 came out.  Your reputation as a "train set" company has moved from that level to a purveyor of first-class merchandise.  Glad to see those figures have joined the progression.  I'll be looking for other figures from you which are appropriate for the scenes on my layout.

Congratulations, and keep 'em coming!

Best,

Bill McKean

If you call between 8am and 4pm (EST) weekdays you should not have a problem speaking with a service representitive. Another suggestion would be to fill out an online service request and you will be contacted by the the service department:

They are definitely collector's items. Some of the steel sheets used to press them are still in the warehouse but the machinery to do the job is long gone.
