Do you know if the link and pin couplers work and where did you find them?

I also think they should make Stepney for the HO range, because of the reasons everyone else has stated. I would buy him, and I am sure a lot of other people would too. I also remember that it was hard to find him for TrackMaster too. I got one in 2011, then accidentally broke it, and I couldn't find a new one until 2013, even though it was never discontinued.

They are also making their own G Scale Thomas this year as well.

Has anyone used the metal Micro Trains wheels on the Shapeways rolling stock? If so, how well did they work?

I definitely think that Stepney should be made next, for all of the reasons stated above by other people, and the fact that he was one of my favorite characters as a child.

This is entirely wishful thinking, but I would love to see an ez-app equipped Thomas. I know it probably won't happen, at least for a few years, until they can get the technology to fit in such a small locomotive, but I think it would be really cool and would sell well once it was released.

I forgot about the resin buildings. I think they should do a narrow gauge engine shed. I don't know what to do for large scale though.

Great choice! Is the shed that Peter Sam is in what you are thinking of?

I originally couldn't think of one, but seeing as the only location in Thomas & Friends I would want to model is Boulder Quarry (I lost interest in the show after JBS) those sheds are perfect.

For 2018, I think they might skip an engine considering Paxton isn't out yet. I think for rolling stock they would do the explosives van and the Spiteful Brakevan.

For Narrow Gauge, i think they should do Peter Sam and the red and green BMQ trucks and a brown brakevan. They could also do a starter set with Skarloey and some wagons.

I also got Rheneas for Christmas, as well as the two numbered slate wagons. They are my first narrow gauge products and I think they certainly do have a higher quality than the standard HO scale models.

Thomas & Friends / Re: James is coming soon!

Thomas got a new motor with his sound model, and that didn't change the physical appearance. It also wouldn't really matter if James' motor was updated or not either. I got a James in 2014, and it ran very smooth straight from the box, something that people (who got the model earlier than that) said never happens, and that their James models were extremely rough out of the packaging. People also said that Thomas was the strongest of the 3 models from 2002, but my James model could pull another car with Thomas loaded on it, and my Thomas would struggle pulling a mail car and james on a flatbed.

Anyway, did anyone notice that they changed the handrail from white to silver, and that James' paint is so shiny it reflects the splashers on it (something that the Celebration Thomas didn't manage)?

How strong would you say Oliver is? How many wagons can he pull with Toad?

Where did you find the catalog?
