Dear JY,
No, each sound module is loco-specific.
Sorry!

General Discussion / Re: ez track

Dear MJ,
EZ Track features a built-in roadbed.
A light covering os ballast material can result in a very realistic appearance.
Stay safe, and
Have fun!

Dear Terry,
You can count on my prayers as well.
You are one of the original posters here; I remember meeting you at a WGH many years ago.

Hi, Ted,
I'm eager to see it too!
The cads look great, and we'll post pictures of the samples asap.
As soon as I have one to run we'll post a video.
I'll also look closely at the paint samples and make any necessary changes.
Be safe!

Dear All,
EZ Command is a great, very affordable beginners' system, but
you will need a more advanced system to fully realize the potential of DCC.
My advice is always to choose the system sold by shops in your area, and used
by local clubs.  Sooner or later you'll mess something up, and there will be
a support group to help you out.
Have fun, be safe, and
Enjoy your trains!

Dear RKC,
When I do a prototype I use a bright silver base coat.
When it's REALLY dry I find a transparent automobile color
I like and use that.
I'm sure there was variation among prototypes, so use a color that you like.
Have fun!

Dear Wiz,
As far as I know, they are all analog.
They will certainly negotiate our 11.25" radius EZ Track;
until I see them I don't know about others.
Stay safe!
