The engineer would be on the rigth side of the loco which is obstructed by the nose. Anyways the nose looks to be a brighter color than the long hood?

Gene- If its anything like the GP30's unscrew the coupler box screws and slide teh coupler boxes out. then there are also 2 screws between the front truck and the fuel tank which should be removed. Then just carefully slide the shell off the chassis.

How many of you would want a Spectrum 4-6-2, non-pennsy model. The most popular passenger wheel arrangement in America yet bachmann has yet to produce one that is not Pennsylvania.

Williamette Geared loco builto for Owen-Oregon lumber. Williamette only built 33 Loco's, #4 still survives.

Will take 18" turns but won't look good at it and the thing is a total POS. Tyco's are nothing compared to modern stuff. I suppose you could swap shells with Proto E unit and swap the truck side frames but that would take a but of work.

Looks great!Now I can go to school again and Matt and Steve were beginning to smell pretty bad. And then there was the stale popcorn and Pepsi we had to live off. But It was worth it.
