I'm hoping to make the old mainline coaches soon, does anyone have any suggestions on what I should
do?
One of my friends made the old mainline coaches quite well, however most of what he posted was over on SRMF, and we all know what happened there...
Perhaps I can ask him over email and repost what he says he did over here?

I'm still hoping Troublesome Truck 4 is this van. I imagine it'd be a hot seller too, since people would buy 4 to complete their Flying Kippers.

No question I'd buy it first chance I get, however I think TT4 will be a salt van, as bachmann announced that it would be discontinued...

Here's a short video showcasing the final section of the layout: Tidmouth. Hope you enjoy this RWS-based location :)

WOW just WOW. Words do not begin to describe the sheer awesomeness of that layout, I see that a lot of work must have gone into it, and you should be very pleased with the result :).

And since my profile picture is of Vegeta:
The awesomeness level is over nine THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAND!

I always thought TATMR got too much of a bad reputation. I loved it, still know every word. Determined to see the directors cut someday.
Logically looking at it plus trying to connect it to the railway series and other such continuities is why I believe it gained a bad reputation. It's still my favourite Thomas movie out of all of the ones I've seen, if only for nostalgic purposes :). And a directors cut would be so awesome ;D

we;; I recently made my layout of Thomas and friends, and I don't know if I should make this or something else:

File not found ;) but seriously that doesn't work for anyone not using your computer, I suggest uploading it to imageshack or photobucket which will allow us to see your picture :).

Thanks very much, both of you :) SA, I actually just found a high-quality picture of a brick wall online, printed and cut it out, and pasted it to the backdrop :)
What was the 2 stall shed your using, and your layout is amazing, no words I have can describe it :o.

I don't see much use for Toby without Henrietta.  But just curious--would the real Toby-Henrietta run backwards for a return trip, or would there be a turnaround? I'd think Toby-Henrietta should run back and forth, nor round and round.
Toby would go over a set of point at the other end of the line and pull from rear end of the train (most likely) although I've never seen it I believe that's how they would handle it, after all that's how they would have handled it with Thomas in the Railway Series.

First off I'm loving all the layouts here.
Secondly, if anyone remembers I posted my layout here a little while ago and was surprised by the positive response I got. I was happy, however it is a prebuilt layout and the incline is too steep and the radius is too tight for 2 of my favourite engines real life engines (the "Flying Scotsman" and the "Mallard"), Gordon and Henry as well :(.
So I am devising a plan for a layout I'm making, and after that 2 sets, one of which will be a cross between a railway series/TV series shed (a turn table leading to a railway series like shed) and then a station terminus, made to look like knapford, but differently set up. I shall draw up a track plan (albeit hand drawn and most likely poor quality) when ever I have enough time to draw up and think one through enough.

Yeah, at local stores I've even seen the red express coaches, and they were discontinued years ago. I don't believe the tar wagon was ever discontinued as it's still on the online store.

I always thought about making a thread like this, but I always thought it might just be shot down and deleted. I'm glad to see I was wrong ;).
