GREETINGS! Although I've not even got a track that's running, I've accumulated quite a collection of trains! Among the BACHMANN DIESELS are:
                  F9-A C P RAIL
                  EMD GP-40 ALASKA
                  GP 50 NORFOLK & WESTERN
                  FT A SEABOARD
                      "  ERIE
" RIO GRANDE (2 of them)
BACHMANN STEAM are:
                   JUPITER and CANADIAN PACIFIC 119
One of these days, I'll get a track up and running, but not today!(I'm leaving out on my Kentucky run shortly!!
                                                                                           THANX!!

Mark, it took some fancy talking on my part, but I finally managed to convince my financial advisor that if you would accept my gracious offer of DOUBLE your investment (that's right- DOUBLE), I will even pay POSTAGE on same! I know it sounds too good to be true, but it is! In fact, I've probably got some of the SPARE PARTS that you need that I'll even INCLUDE in the deal !  IT'S A WIN/WIN SITUATION!!
                                                                                             THANX!!

Kadee has a web page that tells what couplers to use for any brand of cars.  Most car are simple to change.

PLEASE tell us the ADDRESS!!

As concerning his not having returned, may I submit the possibility that he may be a truck driver. I consider myself lucky in the aspect that I am out one day and back the next (even though the pay is somewhat lacking), but some of those guys stay out for WEEKS! :o
Of course, when and if he does return, he may not recognize his original thread, or he may not realize that within all this "stuff", there is an answer to his question, so he may actually start a new thread with the same question!!?? ;D
I'M BACK!!!!       (from my run to Kentucky!!)
                                                                                    THANX!!
                                                                                      Ernie
P.S.
Sorry, Gene!! I know that you thought that it was I, myself, that were a COLLEGE PROFESSOR. Actually, I did go to college, but soon learned that I could teach them nothing, so I left. Should they ever realize their need for the intellegince that they lack, it will be by another hand by which they must gain same! 8)                                  GOOD DAY!!
                                                                                               THANX!!

Sir Gene, it has well been observed by thee that this one about whom we are speaking is from the east; howbeit, when one takes the letters of each given name in said union, one will still come up with letters that could be construed to form the word "HILLYBILLARY" and that is all to which I was referring in my previous note.
Also, be it known by all parties reading this particular thread, that I am more than a little concerned that it might tend to have somewhat of a "political" connotation, and because of same may eventually suffer eradication, since any "political" discussion, or reference to same, may be considered "taboo".
In the well-stated words of the beloved Master Paul Harvey, himself:
                                                                         GOOD DAY!
                                                                                              THANX!!

One very simple way to "mix" the use of both types of couplers is to have a car with a different type at each end, and using it to "integrate" the two. Of course, since you only have the one "outlaw", it would be a very simple step to just replace the one "outlaw"! ... But, hang onto it, in case you ever want to make an "integrator"!!

In this world, whether we like it or not, how you speak and how you spell automatically classifies your education and social standing and thus how other people perceive you.

For example, we've all watched Gerry Springer, even if we don't want to admit it.  On that show, as soon as the vast majority of "guests" open their mouths, "Trailer Trash" and "Uneducated" or "Hillybilly" screams out at you.  Sadly, poor spelling and poor grammer in posts to this and other boards gives off the same message.

If you want to be taken seriously, at least make an attempt at following standard guide lines when it comes to spelling, at which we are not all perfect, capitalisation, which is not difficult and punctuation which again, isn't too difficult.

We are very forgiving about typos, we've all made them.  In fact, some can be quite humourous.

We will ignore the differences between \\

:oBE CAREFUL HOW YOU USE THE TERM "HILLYBILLY""!  WE MAY SOON HAVE A "HILLYBILLARY" AS PRESIDENT!! ::)

Within and upon this forum, thou wilt find, as it were, many types of languages, and a glossary of terms that may or may not be familiar with or utilized by the uneducated, and even, to some extent, the educated, whom I'll not in this writing attempt to identify nor classify, nor even separate as to whom belongs in what category. Suffice it to say that I percieve that the psychological ramifications of this rather quaint discussion is much deeper than meets the naked eye!!

The "GOO GONE" simply sprays on the track, and works while you play.
