I agree. GP30s could ride on the GP38 chasis and trucks!

Dominic, I buy all of my trains as "runners", no shelf queens in my house! ;D

I agree with the eBay sold values for insurance purposes. Copy the sold page and keep it in your insurance files. You can't be too careful.

I like the idea of Alco FAs in both  McGinnis and Hunter Green New Haven paint schemes. And Pennsy F3s in both Brunswick Green (single stripe) and Tuscan Red (5 stripe) paint schemes.

I have to get me a Cleveland Transit trolley. These look like they will be a hot seller!

Just a question for the Bach-mann...
Is there any chance that WBB can, or would, consider manufacturing some ALCO RS3 diesels? Brand L's aren't all that great and they also make no non-powered diesel units to go with their RS3 powered models. MTH RS3s are over featured and over priced for my tastes. A nice set of powered and non-powered RS3 diesels in prototypical roadnames and paint schemes would be great! I like to run my diesels in two or three unit lash ups. Thanks for your time.

Back in 1980 MPC/Lionel made some nice red, yellow and silver Florida East Coast GP9s which I purchased back then. Maybe WBB will consider some for their 2011 catalog. I think that the ones I have from Lionel are a real sharp paint scheme.

I would also like to see some GP30s. They could ride on the same frames  the GP38s ride on. The GP30 is a very distinctive looking locomotive. ;D

Thanks, but I am very partial to the look of the F3 ABAs. I"ll keep my fingers crossed for some F3s. ;)

LOOKS GREAT! Way to go Bachmann! Are there going to be "dummy" Alco A units for the ready to run Santa Fe and Pennsy sets? And maybe a couple of extra coaches?

I agree with the two previous posters. :) Since I purchased my first Williams/Williams by Bachmann locomotive 5 years ago that I have purchased only one Lionel locomotive. And that was a traditional Lionel Lines 0-8-0. Everything else has been Williams/WBB. In my opinion, you just can't beat the quality or bang for your buck. Keep it up WBB, you give those of us who don't want to spend a fortune on trains an excellent alternative. Thank you.

Williams by Bachmann / 2010 CATALOG?
January 31, 2010, 05:53:30 PM
Hey Bach-mann! When can we expect to get our hands on a 2010 catalog? Or perhaps be able to view it on line? Keep the "Good Stuff" comming.
Thank You,
Cobrabob. ;D

I agree with Lee. Try an MTH Z-1000 transformer. I will be buying one this Summer to use solely under my Christmas Tree. I think the Z-1000  will be just what you will need for a Christmas Tree or smaller sized layout. Good Luck!
And, like I posted earlier, once I bought my MTH Z-4000 I have not had ANY problems with my WBB small Pennsy Hudson. NONE. The Z-4000 has plenty of power (watts, volts and amps) to run two trains at once. I really feel that your problem lies in your transformer.

But, on the Lionel locomotive of the same quality of loco AND  large die-cast tender, you will find a much higher price and only one or possobly two road names to choose from! LOL!!! ;D ;)
