HiT didn't steal the idea because movies are made many many months in advance, so there's no way HiT could have just stolen the idea.

HiT probably just didn't approve of the content presented in the video.

Well, how did TTTEParody find out the plot of DOTD and made a video of it before the movie itself was even announced? Could the plot have been leaked last year? ???

1 DUCK  ;D ;D
2 breakdown train
3 toad and Oliver
4 great waterton set with tower and buildings
5 old slow coach
6 diesel 10
and
7 troublesome trucks 4 ,5, 6,and etc..

I hope the bachmann guy make DUCK and the breakdown train in 2012 :D :D :D

Wow, you're the first to not have Oliver on your list! :D

Now, for my list...

1. BoCo
2. 'Arry and Bert (They're simple face changes so it's sort of one)
3. Diesel 199 (Isn't it about time Bachmann made some RWS characters? They were going to make Fred Pelhay and Rickety but they got cancelled)
4. D7101/Bear
5. Rosie

I think last year in October, someone on YouTube named "TTTEParody" made a fake trailer for "Day of the Diesels" before it was even announced. The trailer had a creepier twist to it which starts off with Thomas steaming into the scrapyard or Dieselworks then the sounds of metal clanging can be heard then he is suddenly hoisted up by ropes and Diesel 10 can be heard then seen laughing. I didn't see the real fake trailer, but TTTEParody held a contest for a remake of that trailer so only I saw the contest entries and not the real trailer (although I saw a bit of it on someone's fan made trailer).

It was then removed on YouTube for possible HiT copyright issues. Could HiT have "stolen" the idea and took down the fake trailer so they won't get sued? If you want to see this "fake" trailer thing yourself, look at "Day of the Diesels contest entries" on YouTube or something and you'll see what I mean.

The rhyming is just silly, and good stories have explanations.

Tell that to some episodes of Garfield & Friends.
I seen many good stories with no explanations and they didn't get slammed by reviewers. :P
It's never good to try and defend your case without any examples.

Those were examples right there.

not really. things take time, especially something to get from here to Australia. when i ordered my Great Waterton buildings from Frontline Hobbies it took it usally takes between 1-4 weeks, depending on the size of the package. btw, my Post Office and Ben's Books arrived yesterday! :D i might post pictures.

No need to worry! My Train set came yesterday! But the only problems are they only go in one direction and stop when I switch to the other... :(

Also, Bachmann Douglas hasn't arrived yet but I got a message saying it has been released.

I'm really starting to worry, I've waited long enough and Bachmann is false advertising. >:(

I disagree with some of your pros and cons...

How is Rhyming a bad thing? I know it sort of isn't Thomas but still they can be fun at times.
The fire explanation doesn't really matter.
Percy and the others being stupid? They be who they be. >:(

HiT does what they want with Thomas, sure I miss some old Thomas moments but I'm still fine with what HiT does... who knows, maybe Britt Allcroft might come back sometime and maybe the Season 16's 2nd half and Season 17's writing could be more pleasing than the previous writing.
