i just tested Bachmann Acela Ho scale train set.Does anybody can explain to me what DCC Ready means?

THE COUPLERS ARE WERY FRAGILE.DOES ANYONE CAN GIVE ME INSTRUCTIONS OR ADVICE HOW TO USE THEM(COUPLING AND UNCOUPLING),WITHOUT DESTROYING THEM???
