I recently replaced the stock Bachmann DCC decoder with a Soundtraxx one and now my strobe light doesn't work. It appears that the strobe has its own light board and has 4 wires going to it. Anyone know what Bachmann did here and how I can fix it either by wiring it or by a value in the Soundtraxx decoder?

Also - there's not much documentation on the board in this thing....I see a bunch of other tabs for more led's.  Are these the F5/F6 tabs?

According to Bachmann's manual on it then it had an led and I should be good to go!  Thx!

Great!  Isn't the current decoder that's already installed from Bachmann escentially an 8 to 9 pin adapter just with the decoder shrink wrapped and plugged in?

This Bachmann decoder has an 8 pin connector...if I wanted to simply replace the decoder with another that has a 9 pin o it, can I just cut the plastic back on the Bachmann one and plug it in?  Is there a 9 pin connection on the other end of that 8 pin connector?

I have the new Bachmann Spectrum 8-40Cw with Dcc.  If I wanted to drill out the ditch light casings and add small led's how would I wire that into the existing board?  I just want them to go on with the headlight, so no flashing or separate dcc function.  Can I wire them in series into the existing front headlight led without any extra resistors?  Has someone else done this on the model I have and can share some pictures?  Thanks!
