Title: Completing a train assembly
Post by: Moldmaker on March 07, 2025, 06:32:17 AM
Good morning to all:
I am looking for someone who can assist me in completing 2 trains.Let me explain I am a plastic injection mold maker in the 1980's I work for a company called Marden mold. During that time I personally built various molds for P & D hobby trains and all the assessors.
When I left the company the owner promised me atlas train and the f train behind it. But when I showed up he said did not recognize me. I was raising a family of 5 and at that time could not afford those completed trains. For years I have trying to track down those trains so I could  pass down to my children the complete models on what their father designed and personally built. I recently pick up both shells painted but not completed to run on a track. So is their anyone out their who can help me in completing these trains. If so please respond to [email protected]. I just retired from the trade after 47 years doing it. Theses trains for P& D hobby I believe was my greatest accomplishment in the field.Thank you for anyone's help.Iam not expecting this to be done for free.
Willing to pay to complete the trains. The response below this train was produced for P&D Hoppy. The train that you reference
Is identical to the one I built. The store has closed but the still have foot print on eBay.
