Title: 1900-era 68-foot passenger cars
Post by: LeakyRoofLine on March 01, 2025, 12:41:09 PM
I'm very glad to see these cars.  Based on what I've seen they look like a very nice car that will fill a long-standing gap in what has been available to modelers, representing typical passenger coaches of the late 19th century, and they are generic enough that they can represent a lot of different railroads.  I have a couple of questions:

* Will they be available in painted but undecorated form?  Lots of modelers would like to letter these for their own roads, or for prototypes that aren't produced RTR.  Pullman green and maroon undecorated versions would sell very well, I think.

* Will accompanying baggage/RPO headend cars be produced to fill out a complete typical passenger train of the era?

Thanks!

Yes, head end cars please.  We are not all modeling present day excursion trains.

Hi all, we appreciate the positive feedback. While we don't have them officially planned for development, we'll certainly keep in mind to add more car types like baggage and RPO cars in the future. And we can consider painted/unlettered cars for a future release.
