Title: How to make figure 8 with 22" radius track and trestles
Post by: BrownCountyModelTrains on October 08, 2024, 08:08:18 PM
I have a toy train store in Indiana and I have a customer who wants to make a figure 8 up-and-over with trestles for the Denali Express which has 22" radius track. How do I do this? (Not the trestle part, the 22" radius part). Thanks.

This is a Fig-8 using 22" radius curves and a 90 degree crossing. For an over and under Fig-8 replace the 90 degree crossing with 2" straight pieces for the upper and lower portions of the Fig-8. Woodland Scenics 2 or 3 degree foam risers would probably be the best way to elevate the upper level.
