Title: DCC confusion..

My question concerns the DCC controller. I"ve assigned my two locomotives separate addresses on the controller. My problem is I can"t individually control each loco. I"ve read the DCC controller set up instructions; what am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Sigh. Which brand of loco, decoder and DCC system?

I'm using the Bachmann E-Z Command Control. My two locos are DCC equipped. I have no problem assigning specific addresses to each one; each one will start indepentant of the other, but I can't stop one without stopping both.

It is possible that the controller is in function mode. Is the light next to the yellow button flashing? If it is flashing press it so that it is constant to get out of function mode. if all else fails take a look at the instruction videos:
