Title: EZ Command DCC Port Wire Diagram
Post by: lewisalvis on March 19, 2013, 03:23:52 AM
I received a non-Bachmann 8 amp booster as a gift. It has an RJ45 port with cable as does my Bachmann DCC controller. However, the two systems are not compatible as wired. I need the eight wire, wiring schematic (wire number, function and color) for the Bachmann controller's RJ45  booster port. Has anyone out there got this information? I emailed Bachmann but they apparently declined to respond as I have never heard back from them.

What Bachmann system? EZ DCC or Dynamis? What brand booster? Joe

EZ Command system is what I am trying to hook up; although I also have the Dynamis and probably will eventually want to hook that up as well. The booster is an 8 amp MRC Power Booster.

lewis-

You should be able to connect your EZ Command to an 8-amp booster but
make sure it is an actual booster, not just a power supply. A simple power
supply will destroy your command station in no time flat.

I would use the Dynamis as this is a better system. Nore that you can't have both systems hooked up together. joe
