Title: brass "C" channel strips
Post by: jbrock27 on January 14, 2013, 10:17:22 PM
Does anyone know where I can find brass "C" channel strips, 1/4" wide or even a little less and 6" or more long?
Thanks for the help.

VCS carries a small selection:

Special Shapes carries a wider variety:

Have not personally seen any from K & S, but plenty of the brass and aluminum tubing (round and square), brass bars, sheet stock and rods.

jb-

Good hardware stores near me carry assorted brass, aluminum and
stainless shapes. They run 12 ' to 18". Also, any good hobby shop
will carry such merchandise or you can buy it on line.

Thank you all.

The problem with my trying to patronize my LHS which I would luv to do, is that he has very little HO or train stuff period.  For him is it almost all RC stuff.

If I strike out at the hardware store (one of my favorite places) and the hobby shop, then I will look to those on line sights.  I saw that VCS place yesterday TimR when I was hunting around.  I wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions of where to look before I began my quest.  Thank you all again.  Have a great day!
