Title: My EZ COMMAND STATION Burned Up
Post by: Norman123 on September 15, 2011, 09:43:09 PM
I had my dcc system only a few days and it burned up. I did not plug it in wrong or have any shorts which should have showed up, I connected a DC power pack to tje same track and loco and it worked fine. any ideas what went wrong?

Norman,
We could all guess but I doubt it will do any good for no one will ever know the real reason. If you have the receipt send it in to Bachmann. My first one did not work right out the box and it was replaced by Bachmann.
Jerry

P.S. I know you said it was hooked up correctly but make sure the track is connected before you connect the power pack.

IS it the Command station or just the power pack? did you see smoke come out of anything?

Were you using the power pack that came with it?

Did you have your track wires plugged in before you powered it up?
