Title: Rivarossi tender
Post by: Bobofthedesert on March 02, 2011, 03:06:06 PM
I have a Rivarossi AC11-AC12 Engine whose tender needs to have the rear truck connected.  I would like to know where I can find a peg or screw that would attach the truck to the tender.  I have a parts list which is very small and difficult to see.  The part looks like a plastic peg with the part number R15407.                          Thanks for your help.  Bob.

Hot Bob-

You can make things easier for yourself by filling the existing hole in your tender's frame or floor and then drilling and tapping a new hole for a retaining screw. I don't know what the frame or floor of your model is made of but you can probably just use a self-tapping screw if the floor is plastic. I'd use an "official" tap if it's metal. Either way, this will allow you to easily remove and replace the truck in the future.
