Title: need help with bachmann GP7

need to know what I need to do if anything to have my GP7 run in DC this is a new engine and what come with it just says DCC equipped is also 100 percent backwards compatible with standard DC non-digital layouts. and thier is a 6 point pin board that come with it and what is that for? no instructions come with it in the box. Thanks for any help RonGP7

Actually, there should be instructions in the box.  Make sure you look under ALL the inserts under the model.  In some cases what looks like the bottom of the box is actually an insert with the instructions underneath.

The "6 pin board" is the jumpers for use if you want better DC operation. Leave the decoder in if you want to run on DCC or are satisfied with it as is.

Just put it on your DC track and run it.It has a dual mode decoder and will run on both systems.
