Title: DECODER

I have a digitrax SDN144PS decoder I'm putting it in a diesel dose any one know where the F1-green wire and the F2-violet wire go (i think they are the function leads )but where do they go or do they get cut off

i've never used them. i'd just leave them there if you have the room. if you cut them off and later find a use for them you'd have to reinstall another wiring harnass.

I have installed quite a few Digitrax DH123 deocders which also use 7 of the 9 connections.  But sometimes I later upgrade the decoder to a DH163 which uses all 9 wires.  My usual solution is to cut the unused green and violet wires off, leaving a 1/2" stub.  Latrer I can reattach green and violet wires to the stubs if I need to.
