I'm looking for an HO DC 0-4-0 steam yard switch engine. I've seen one somewhere in the past month or so, but can't remember where. I've recently looked in Bachmann's and several other on-line catalogs, but no luck. Can you point me to where I can find one, or if not, then recommend a switch engine? ???
Model Power makes one, I bought a new one about 15 years ago from my LHS for about $10, these days they are about $25-$35.
Bachmann makes an 0-6-0 switcher.
Bachmann's 0-6-0 lacks an operational front coupler, I believe.
Walther's for a start.

IHC made an 0-4-0T docksider and a 0-4-0 with tender, they were about $25, but are not in production currently. Life-like makes a docksider for $30 and a 0-4-0 w/ tender for $25, the regular 0-4-0 is on sale at Walhers for $23 in PRR. Mantua has a 0-4-0 goat for $160, and a 0-4-0 shifter for $110. Model power's 0-4-0T is $34 and the 0-4-0 shifter is $43. They also make an old-time 0-4-0 Fat boy for $47. The Bachmann 0-6-0 is $80 and has a dummy front coupler, while the 0-6-0t is $125 with 2 operational couplers. Life-like's 0-6-0 is $265 or $350 with sound & DCC. The Mantua 0-6-0 goat is on sale for $84 on Walthers, regular $100, while the 0-6-0T is $60.
