I wanted to add a point-to-point trolley to my layout.  I plan to use the E-Z reciprocating track to run it.  Can this be achieved by buying components and putting the deal together or need I buy the trolley set?  I already have a couple of trolleys and was also wondering; is the magic in the track, the trolley shed or the trolley itself?

The reversing circuit is in the trolley barn. The tracks merely extend the run.
