I am wondering if Bachmann can make any 2-6-2T's or 0-6-0T's?  I like the look of the Quincy 2-6-2T's....Or another branch line type 0-6-0T. Will Bachmann make any of these? And if they do, will they be DCC ready?

Something like this:

And this:

since Bachmann already makes a 0-6-0t I think you are out of luck.  If I remember correctly I think someone did make a model of that locomotive.

Bachmann offers a 0-6-0T in the Spectrum line that is DCC ready.

Oh good! Is there a picture of it? I didn't see it in the Product section of this website.

However, will Bachmann make any with the more of the standard steam valve gear?

If they did, it must have been in brass because I've never seen it.

Not any more, it is out of production I believe. I can only find them on eBay, they aren't here, they aren't at micromark, nowhere, just eBay.

Ah, the USATC locos.

History here:

http://www.project62.supanet.com/USAlocohistory.htm

For HO, I thought DJH in the UK made a kit, but I guess not or it is not listed.  This page (en Francais) states that a company named Alexander made the kit:

Maybe with this loco working in the US and with the USATC sending it to many contries in Euopre and some in China, there is a shot?

It would fill a void for a lot of modellers out there....

For many years Mantua, and later Mantua/Tyco, made tank engines. I believe that they are again in production thanks to Model Power. I suggest you check the Model Power website to see what they have reissued and availability.

There was also an 0-6-0 tank engine that was made by MDC/Roundhouse.
