Smoke Unit center pin

I broke the tip of the center metal "pin" off on my WBB 671 turbine. Is this something to worry about or should I just leave it?

If its just the tip you should be okay. The pin is really a tube. I just learned about this at one of my local hobby shops. He also showed my how to clean the tube by running a .008 wire down the tube. This will clean out the junk that builds up. Just make sure you didn't crush the hole on top.

Thanks for the reply Bill. I had originally bent the tube opening a little but I managed to carefully open it back up. I will try cleaning it as well after I get some run time on it as it is now sitting on my bench waiting to get some minor adjustments and modifications.
