Gene....

For any resin kit, I use CA adhesive with a kicker to cure it.

Dear Sid,

Thanks for the response.  I'll remember that one.  I use lots of CA with Zip Kicker for model airplanes, etc.  Works well.  We do not build museum pieces, so only use the medium weight or so.  I remember one time TOC mentioned that CA can be softened and removed by soaking in water.

Have you ever tried Gorilla Glue for models?  I use it a lot to repair outside broken bird baths, etc, but the stuff expands greatly when water is applied.  "Strong stuff," as Elwood Blues said !

I find that No-Nails covers just about any gluing job I need to cover.

Dear Grumpy,

Is all this stuff "instant grab" or do you have some working time?  I would hate to connect the "neck bone to the leg bone," and not have the time to correct it.  :)

Too, can you get it at Lowe's or similar?

Best Wishes,

The No -Nails  has good holding power until it dries. You have 30 min working time . I use little dobs to hold small things in place. My back ground panels are all held it into place with No-Nails.
