In Aukland, a "Jigger" is a small 4 wheel motor car used to transport workers to the bush, similar to a "scooter".

A "Jigger" also means "a full tonnage of weight".

A "Jigger Valve" is used to conserve water. 

May well be, but according to my road foreman of engines, a jigger is what links the thingamajig to the whatchamacallit, and I still can't find it on that diagram.

The other day, a doohickey fell off my engine, and I don't see it listed anywhere.

We replaced all the doohickeys with widgets for just that reason: they kept falling off. One fell off the engine of the morning peddlar freight, shut down the engine, and tied up the whole line. The brass hats were really p.o.'d.
