Forney problem

I have been running my recently purchased DCC/sound Forney on DCC with no problem.  However, when I attempted to run it on DC analog, it did not respond at all.   Am I missing some step required for DC or is this a malfunction?

I had the same issue with my SHAY a while back. I reset CV 29 to a value of 6 and everything was fine again.
