Royal Gorge Train Set

Are the passenger  cars lit on the royal gorge train set and can the engines be converted to DCC ?

I can't anser on the passenger cars although I'm 99.99% shure that they are lit. The locomotives can be coverted to DCC, however I would recomend just buying a DCC equiped model of the same locomotive and swapping shells, since it is a lot easyer and you can get the locomotives for the same price if not a little less then a decoder.
