Gallows Turntable Spyder

I am going to build a gallows turntable in On30 and was wondering if anyone out there had any plans or know where to find some plans for a spyder for the base of the turntable. I have googled and found a number of pictures but no hints on how to make one. Any ideas greatly appreciated
