missing connectors

I just opened The American N scale that I bought 15 years ago.  On the curved terminal rerailer there are no connectors.  Does that mean I only need one on each side from the other track or should I go out and get some more?

Every joint should have a rail joiner. Any hobby shop will have them, or you can give service a call.
