I am very interested in the Dynamis DCC system

I was wondering does the system remember all locos

that were in the roster when powered off?

Also why wasn't keypad (phone) used insted of

2 columns of 6 keys?

A: Yes, up to database limit of 40.

Q: why wasn't keypad (phone) used insted of 2 columns of 6 keys?
A: Adrian Monk was in charge of selection of key arrangement.
