I have a Bachman Big Hauler R/C Receiver # 90-0100-27.  It has been stored in my basement, not with great care, for years.  This year I wanted to use it for a display for some children and found that I am missing the remote control, the part which retains the batteries and the manual.

I would like to know if these parts are avaible, and where can I obtain them?

Dear Ab,

This is a question specific to the "Large Scale" section.

Try posting it there with the title "Battery R/C Big Hauler replacement parts".

Also, you could click on "search" and enter "battery R/C".

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Joe Satnik
If your loco is too heavy to lift, you'd better be able to ride in, on or behind it.

These parts are no longer available!   The unit you have is about 20 years old.

It may be possible to get a remote on Ebay, but the piece on the back which retains the batteries is one item I have NEVER seen on Ebay.

Unless you are determined to make it run I would scrap it!!

The set you have often sells on Ebay for $20 to $60, so you would be better off going that route if you want instructions.

Wish I could give you better news,

Merry railroading!

Loco Bill, I appreciate your assistance and will check on ebay to see if I can purchase another system.  I guess I can keep the one I have for spare parts.  Again Thanks. :)
