Class A Climax

Bachmann has been so successful with their other geared engines, I wonder what the possibility is of seeing a class A Climax in production?

The Climax would be nice, but I've been wanting a large scale T boiler since it was released in On30.

Ok. What is the difference between a class A climax and the first one they did?

The Class B Climax has the cylinders mounted beside the boiler at an angle of around 22.5 degrees and is heavier than the class A and has a traditional looking cab. The classic class A Climaxes were  generally 12 to 15 tons, had 2 vertical cylinders mounted in the cab directly in line with and behind the boiler. The class A had a distinctive long cab that covered the operator, cylinders and the firebox.
In the southeastern US, especially in the Great Smokies, along the Blue Ridge, in remote places in Virginia and West Virginia where narrow gauge rail reached, they were commonplace.

I believe that Bachmann really could sell many of these engines.

Bachmann could even do a class A Climax with a round water tank and a square water tank!
