New Explorer train set just purchased with missing or broken pieces...

 ???Just purchased new explorer train set new-in box in black-Friday sale only to get it home and find that it is missing the manual, a piece of track, and all accessories. Several parts of the cars were either broken or missing.  The C7 is even missing the clasps that hold the cars together  Being the last one at the store, i can't simply exchange it as i was informed by the store mgr. that the store only ordered the sets as a black-Friday promotion and has no immediate plans to order any more this year.  How helpful should i expect Bachmann to be in rectifying the situation-has anyone experienced a similar issue and if so what steps should i take to get the ball rolling? any and all help will be greatly appriciated...  thank you.
