Can anyone give me a couple of good sources for HO engines? I can only remember Caboose, Factory Direct Trains, and Trainworld, but I know there are lots of other good sources. I sure miss my short term memory!!- Mike

I use Tower Hobbies site for quick reference, they at least give a few details such as loco and tender length, great pictures, and have a large Bachmann inventory.

When searching at Caboose Hobbies, it helps to know the Walther's prefix number for manufacturers.  For example, the Bachmann prefix is 0160, so entering the part number 016083607 in the advanced search retrieves the Spectrum UP 2-8-0.

Caboose Hobbies has been in business 70 years, the largest train store in the U.S. If you plan to visit the store in Denver, allow at least 5 days to see most of their inventory.  To bypass the main page and get to the goodies, use this link.
