i recently got  an VIA Rail  F40ph. that is missing a number board, im aware bachmann doesnt sell them anymore. is it possible to get a blank one? just to cover the spcace i dont care if it doesnt have the number on it

You could cut a small piece of styrene & fit it into the space.
