Bob, weren't you the one who told me that hunker down was a type of feather used in a winter jacket? ;D

Can someone explain what a hunker is and do they have feathers or down or both.
Don.

"Hunker" is a verb, means to squat or crouch down, in other words, get down to business at hand or brace yourself for impending onslaughts.  Like our economy for instance.  :D
I know what I wrote, I don't need a quote
Rule Number One: It's Our Railroad.  Rule Number Two: Refer to Rule Number One.

Hunker actually is a large flightless bird completely covered with down making it unable to go up. Its brain is like mine and it has legs like Bobs so it is rather stupid and walks in circles.
