Do the acela coaches work with either DDC or DC ?? or must be specified when ordered ?

for dcc operation, be mindful of lighted cars and other operating rolling stock on DCC operation, the car top will become warm, due to the lights constant operation on DCC current, it should not harm the whole acela train!!!!
