News on my Mopac S12

I've finished re-painting my Athearn SP S12 into the Mopac scheme. I chose to model #9217, but I had to guess on their paint scheme because I haven't come across any photos of Missouri Pacific S12s.

Click on the link below....click on diesel locomotives and scroll all the way to the bottom.  You'll find a picture of an S12 there although the number is different.

Thanks. Turns out that I messed up on the paint scheme. I painted it in the blue with white stripes paint scheme that most of their switchers had. It turned out to be black with white lettering. Oh well. Maybe I'll buy a used S12 at a train show and paint that one into the correct MP scheme.

i just repainted an athearn s12 too- i'd like to show a pic but i dont have one. its painted green with white stripes, white cab, green fuel tank and green trucks. It started as a NYC unit, so I left the end stripes. I added a decoder and next i'll paint the handrails green. If i get a picture , I'll post it and show y'all.
